To the Split Feather Singers and everyone who made the MÉTIS Powwow a success,
From the bottom of our hearts, we offer our deepest gratitude for your presence, energy, and commitment. The drumbeat of the Split Feather Singers echoed through our hearts and spirits, connecting generations and calling our ancestors to dance with us once more. Your songs carried the stories of our people, reminding us of who we are and where we come from. Thank you for your powerful voice and sacred rhythm — you are the heart of our circle.
To every dancer, cook, fire keepers, trader, volunteer, elder, and visitor: thank you. You brought this gathering to life with your generosity, wisdom, and strength. Whether you helped set up tents, shared a kind word, or simply showed up in spirit — every gesture mattered.
To the ones who traveled far, those who offered prayers, taught the children, and smiled with pride: you are the medicine of our community.
This powwow was more than a celebration. It was a reconnection — a sacred honoring of our Métis identity and culture. We are reminded that we are never alone on this path. We walk together, braided by ancestry, community, and love.
May the Creator bless each of you for the gifts you shared and the healing you helped bring forth. Until we meet again, may your drums stay strong and your hearts stay full.
With boundless appreciation and love,
Chi miigwech. Marsee. Thank you.
